Reminds me of Earthbound. If you send me a midi, I'll give it the soundfont. Also love the melody, it's so cute

Oh really? That was not my intention at all. Maybe I will send you the midi files, just don't upload it to the public, please? Oh, and thanks for the review, I'm glad you liked it.
Okay, so obviously, I didn't listen to the whole thing, but from what I skimmed and skipped around with, I really liked. The white, crackling noise in the background really take you away from reality and rip you into a new one. Based on the title alone, I assumed this would be some meme-y shitpost but this is actually, in it's unique, ghastly way, a beautifully haunting experience. It reminds me a LOT of The End from Minecraft in that it sounds very corrupted and how it slowly builds up into something so BIG! This is a very well done piece, sorry for going on a whole thing about it but this song is pretty genius
Thank you so much for the review! The song was heavily inspired by and pulled from the TV show "Twin Peaks" which is probably why it sounds so haunting. Don't worry about going on too much, I really liked reading your review. :)
Experimental music is a way of saying: "Hey, today I'm going to try something new. Something that hasn't been done before. Something that will inspire people for years." It's very, VERY hard to actually do experimental music correctly and buddy, you did it. The nylon guitar gives this otherwise calm but chaotic piece personality and helps it to stand out. And I'm absolutely enraptured by the strange, alien noises going on in the middle of it all. Strange ending though
Thank you so much for the review! I'm really glad that you liked the 'experimental' aspect of this piece; I wasn't very sure of it myself. I wanted to have the Wildlands be both beautiful and dangerous, which is why I added the guitar to the mix. And the ending, as @Yokay126 said, is when the person gets eaten. (Well, I didn;t no what I was doing at the end, but his ending is as good as any.)
Dude the instruments, progression and overall atmosphere make this song not a song, but an experience. This song IS that artpiece. You nailed every single aspect of this from the natural feeling, the melody, the character and even the subtle bird calls. Going to be listening to this more than a few times
Edit: Oh my god that's beautiful. I'll be lucky to one day write songs as vibrant and alive as you
Thank you for the kind words! I specifically chose each instrument to represent something in the forest that answered when the wood flute played. Much like an orchestra, all the sounds of the forest play in harmony with each other to form a moment in time specific to that place. The strings are the leaves in the wind, the piano the rays of light. The woodwinds, like bird calls answering each other. Hopefully I made that connection.
Thanks for listening. :)
This literally has the exact same progression as Megalovania lmao. Not bad though
I won't deny it XD
I love how you did this. The lush and calm chords and the lo-fi drums add a lot to it. The pads were VERY well chosen/designed. But when the melody came in is when it really started to distinguish itself.
Thank you! I've been very nervous about how well received this would be, so a first review like this is comforting!
Masterfully composed and hauntingly beautiful. All the instruments are obviously well chosen and the melody could actually do with lyrics. I recommend at least trying to find good lyrics for it before you're totally done with it
Oh I plan on it, it's just that it's been annoying me sitting there in my project folder for five years while I haven't figured out what to do with it :P
Thanks for the review!
So happy to hear your guitar again :)
Will be doing more soon. ^_^
thanks for listening.
Name doesn't fit but overall okay
